I'm studying English language and literature at the University of Iowa, with a focus on medieval lit, and special interest in vernacular lit of the Late Middle Ages, Arthurian lit, and Middle High German lit, especially the Minnesang and Meistersang traditions. :D School is the most important part of my life right now, and I'm a huge geek about it. I'm currently finishing my undergrad and applying to grad schools in English, to study medieval lit. Beyond that, I work as a reading tutor in a local elementary school, and I live with three roommates who are all older than I am. So that's where my life is right now.
Other things I enjoy include writing, baking, swimming, embroidery, the Internet, fandom, small children, getting mail, anything purple, having my own kitchen, research papers, historical fiction, poetry, ice cream, the French Revolution, literary theory, camping, feminism, liberalism, cats, and procrastinating. Not necessarily in that order.
